The mission was clear: to craft a modern, functional and visually appealing bathroom, all while discreetly concealing plumbing components for a seamless aesthetic.
For this ambitious task, Salcombe Interiors, an expert bathroom installation company, was assigned the project.
The team needed to find a bathroom manufacturer to fit the project brief of marrying design and functionality effortlessly.

Delivering the Solution
The combination of Geberit’s cutting-edge piping and installation systems, coupled with sanitaryware, created a seamless installation process for Salcombe Interiors. The Geberit products were chosen to provide a sleek and contemporary look for the bathroom, effectively concealing plumbing and piping components.
Robert said:
“The client wanted to rip out the old bathroom and install a completely new one. Geberit is my go-to brand and I’ve always had a good relationship with the sales team, so when this project came up, I knew Geberit would be perfect — especially as we wanted to source from one supplier.
I followed the Geberit ethos and went with the Duofix pre-wall system, including frames for the WC and shower, and Mapress and Mepla piping systems. The instructions you get with their products are incredibly concise and the fixings are of top-notch quality.
Geberit’s products are not only easy to use but also exceptionally reliable, built to last and engineered to never fail. Their commitment to quality is what sets them apart.”
The owners of The Thatchers holiday home were delighted with the finished look, which featured matt black taps and showerhead, a matt black towel rail, and matching accents around the mirror and shower screen.
The Geberit products integrated seamlessly into the bathroom’s design, meeting the challenge of concealing plumbing components while providing a visually striking and dependable solution.
