Product identifier for concealed cisterns
The Geberit Pro app’s product identifier offers a quick and easy solution for plumbers to find out which older concealed cistern is in the wall using their smartphone’s image recognition feature. There is also an option for users to simply upload a picture of the actuator plate rather than taking a photo.
With straightforward image display and assignment, it couldn’t be easier to identify the type of urinal flush control in use.
The product identifier recognises all
- Geberit concealed cisterns manufactured from 1964 and
- Geberit urinal flush controls from 1983
The application starts with the actuator plate or flush actuation. Typical product features such as the protection plate or dimensions make it easy to determine the corresponding Geberit model. Once recognised, all spare parts, conversion sets, installation manuals and other product details can be called up directly in the app.
There is no need to go through the hassle of demounting or identifying the cistern, urinal flush control, actuator plate, fill valve or flush valve. Simply find the corresponding Geberit model and associated spare parts in no time!

Simply scan the QR or barcodes found on the product packaging or directly on the products themselves to access the product information you need in an instant.

The scanner is compatible with all Geberit products and provides convenient information even before the product is unpacked.
Spare parts catalogue & installation manuals
There are three different ways for you to enjoy quick and easy access to the right product, the relevant spare parts and installation manuals directly in the app:
- the product identifier
- the search function
- the bookmark for frequently used products
In all three cases, you will be taken directly to the right product and the corresponding spare parts catalogue. In addition to installation manuals, installation videos, declarations of performance, care instructions and environmental product declarations, you can also access extensive information from the digital product catalogue.
Digital product catalogue
Access the entire assortment of the product catalogue directly from your smartphone. The catalogue includes bathroom products for the washbasin area, WCs and urinals, showers and bathtubs, and bathroom series, plus installation systems such as Geberit Duofix, Geberit GIS, Geberit Kombifix, flushing systems, and supply and building drainage systems. It also covers tools and network components.
Each of the products in the catalogue is listed with its own article number, technical data, dimensions, spare parts and accessories, colours, application purposes, properties and scope of delivery. You will also find additional information such as installation manuals and videos.

With the product identifier, you can find out in an instant which older concealed cistern is located behind the wall. The app recognises all Geberit concealed cisterns from 1964 to today as well as the Geberit urinal systems since 1983. Once identified, all spare parts or conversion sets for the concealed cistern can be called up directly in Geberit Pro.
Barcode and QR code scanner
Locate product information quickly. The scanner for QR codes and barcodes links directly to further product information such as installation manuals, spare parts overviews and other product descriptions.

How does the app support me on the building site?
It makes tedious searching a thing of the past so that you can save precious time. The Geberit Pro app makes it easy to identify Geberit products, allowing you to access product details, spare parts catalogues, installation manuals and the digital product catalogue directly in the app.
Can the app also identify products other than concealed cisterns and urinal flush controls using image recognition?
Users can access product information on all products available on the market in two ways:
1) The Geberit Pro app uses the smartphone camera to identify any Geberit concealed cisterns manufactured since 1964 starting from the actuator plate. Urinal flush controls manufactured since 1983 can be identified by image recognition of flush actuations and urinal actuator plates.
2) Other products, such as exposed cisterns, can only be found via the barcode on the packaging or on the product, via the QR code, the entry in the digital product catalogue or by entering a search term.
Does the Geberit Pro app also recognise cisterns from other brands or manufacturers?
No – the Geberit Pro app only recognises concealed cisterns and urinal flush controls from Geberit.
How do I set up the app?
Once downloaded and installed, you can launch the app directly on your smartphone. There’s nothing you need to set up. The app is free and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Can I order articles or spare parts directly via the app?
No. The app can identify articles and spare parts and provide the corresponding article number; however, it is not possible to place orders directly via the app.
